It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Showell of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Whaleyville, Maryland, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Showell; and his wife Ruth Lee Showell (Taylor). He is survived by: his children, Helen B. Lockwood, Beverly, Ronald and Douglas; his grandchildren, Lamar Nash (Sarah), Tyrell Adeyemi (Natasha), Andrea Showell, Sterling Showell, Devon Showell, Douglas Showell, Taylor Miller-Showell, Donovan Ford-Showell and Kellen Smith; his great grandchildren, GraceLucille, RubyRose, PearlElizabeth, ZathanielJean, Rowen Showell-Rouse, Ava Adeyemi and Amari Adeyemi; and also William Jr. (Margaret).
