She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Louis Black Lee and Mary Blanche Lee; her husband Dr. Donald M. Mitchell; and her siblings, Linda, Louis, Larry and Leonard (Lenny).
She is survived by: her sons, Donald (Mary) of Sterling, John (Karen) of Princeton, James (Cheryl) of Tyngsboro and Robert (Lynne) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Ryan, Kayleigh, Morgan, Billy, Meghan, Maralee, Rosemary and Joshua; and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Maddison, Leila, Brooke, Alaina, Brynnleigh and William. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNally & Watson Funeral Home (304 Church St, Clinton, MA 01510). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Richard of Chichester Church (4 Bridge St, Sterling, MA 01564). A committal service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the St. John's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 and earmarked for the Jimmy Fund Clinic on behalf of Lois Lee Mitchell.
