He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony A. Meola and Myrtle M. Meola (Elsom); and his siblings, Dorothy, Robert and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria L. Meola (Galli) of West Boylston; his children, Phyllis M. Chasse (Ronnie) of Auburn, Paula A. Meola of West Boylston, Cynthia S. Sidloski (William) of Worcester and Mark A. Meola of West Boylston; his grandchildren, Rachael Chasse, Heather Barbarotta, Benjamin Robbie, Alexandra Madrigal, Erik, Lauren, Ian Matysiak, Anna Rose Goehle, Michael Meola and Philip Meola; his great grandchildren, Landon, Olivia, Rowan, Wesley, Mila and Sophia; and his siblings, Anthony, Helen and Geraldine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center (100 Worcester Rd, Sterling, MA 01564). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Philip's name may be made to a food pantry of the donor's choosing.
