He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Barker and Mildred Barker; his wife Mary V. "Ginny" Barker (Lennon); his son Michael Barker; and his sibling Jean Walther.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Watters-Walsh (Steven Walsh) of Centerville and James Barker (Doreen Barker) of South Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Tanya Yorks, Michael Barker, Megan Barker, Jack Watters and Sean Barker; and his close friend Donna Sullivan of Ipswich.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (1 Church St, Stoneham, MA 02180). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery (52 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803).
