He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Santoro (DiFiore); his children, Christina McElhiney (John), Michelle Malaguti (Paul) and Joe Santoro; his parents, Carmine Santoro and Sophie Santoro; his siblings, Anita Hodnett (Paul) and Steven Santoro (Christine); and his grandchildren, Sophia, Johnny, Madelyn, Olivia, Jack and Charlie. He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Barile Family Funeral Home (482 Main St, Stoneham, MA 02180). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (71 Central St, Stoneham, MA 02180). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lindenwood Cemetery (Montvale Ave, Stoneham, MA).
