He was predeceased by: his parents, William J Smith and Margaret Smith; and his sister Mary Mahoney. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Nancy Conti (Paul), Jeanne O'Keefe (Bob), Susan Rumson (John) and Bill Smith (Tina); his grandchildren, Paul, Krysta Conti, Colleen O'Keefe, Kerin Rumson, Kathleen Rijo, Melody and Owen Smith; and his brother-in-law Paul Carr (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Patrick Church (71 Central St, Stoneham, MA 02180). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Lindenwood Cemetery.
