She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Vara and Anthony Vara; her husband Andrew "Buddy" Anderson; and her brother Frank "Richard" Vara (late Ruth). She is survived by: her children, John Anderson (Suzanne), Michael Anderson (Kimberly) and Jerilyn Connor (James); her siblings, Anthony Vara (late Margaret "Peggy" Cheryl) and Ann Wazaney (late Norman); her grandchildren, Sean Anderson (Brianna), Kristen Crandall (James), Elle, Jack, Nicolas Anderson and Owen Connor; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Tsiolas, Peyton Mayfield, Ava and Carter Anderson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costa Memorial (170 Central Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 9:15 AM and at 10:30 AM. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
