Julius leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Julius’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Julius will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Lopes and Julia Lopes (Burgess); and his brother Eugene Lopes (late Wayne). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Earley; and his children, Ellen "Lynne" Elms (Francis) of Stoughton, Thomas Lopes of Stoughton, Julie-Ann Wilson of Pennsylvania, Chrissy Carrico (William) of Franklin and Keith Wilson (Noelle) of Boxford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley Funeral Home (358 Park St, Stoughton, MA 02072). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Knollwood Memorial Park (321 High St, Canton, MA 02021).
