He was predeceased by: his wife Maria E. Branco (Mendonca); his parents, Jose Branco and Maria Branco (Pinheiro); and his daughter Gina B. Costeira. He is survived by: his children, Maria F. Freitas (Norman) of Stoughton and Richard M. Branco (Anna) of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Jessica Lorenzo (Nicholas), Christopher Freitas, Kaitlyn, Stephanie Costeira, Ashley and Kayla Branco; his brothers, Jose Branco and Miguel Branco; and his son-in-law Daniel Costeira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
