We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2022, at the age of 87, Maria C. Melo of Stoughton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dinis; her children, John Melo of Brockton, Fransisco, Leonor of Sete Cidades, Sao Miguel and Acores; her brother Manuel C Oliveira of Stoughton; and her nephew Carlos Oliveira (Chuck) of Stoughton.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Dias of Stoughton, Dennis Melo (Maria) of Stoughton, Victor Melo of Stoughton, Eduina Araujo (Roy) of Stoughton, Noemia Lavin (James), Rosa Holsinger (Melo) of Oxford, Belmira Melo (Irving Rose) of Brattleboro, Vt., Mariano Melo (Linda) of Brockton, Joe Melo (Tara) of Whitinsville and Elizabeth Pereira (Charles) of Land; and her sister Belmira Andrade of North Port. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 29 great-grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
