It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland P. Lonergan of Stoughton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wives, Marie M. Lonergan (LaCorti) and Mildred Lonergan (Kelleher); and his siblings, Joseph, Leo, James "Buddy" Lonergan, Mary Margaret Nelson, Patricia Hammond, Helen Gallant, Frances Ritchie, Mildred Doucette and Pauline Salvesen.

He is survived by : his children, Catherine Clinton (Philip), Roland "Paul" Lonergan (Tonette), Michael Lonergan (Dorothy), Nancy Lonergan (Marion "Peg" Lord) of Avon, James Lonergan of Whitman and Susan Keller of Stoughton; and his sister Barbara Jackson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
