He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Winifred (Dzengelewski) and Rudolph Martin Benson; and his brother Robert Benson. He is survived by: his wife Alice Benson (McArdle); his children, Lisa Rodrick (Jim) of Bourne, Mark Benson (Beverly) of Bourne, Steven Benson (Jeanne Kerr) of Uxbridge and David Benson (Sarah) of Rochester; and his grandchildren, Peter, Michael, Christina, Annamarie, Stelliana and Elijah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
