She was predeceased by: her husband John Clayton Jr.; her parents, John W. Kopp and Elizabeth M. Kopp (Malcolm); her daughter Dianne G. Clayton-Macheski; and her grandson Alex Held.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Amero (Bob) of Townsand, MA and Jackie Held (Bill) of East Nassau, NY; her brother-in-law Bill Clayton (Maila) of Conway, SC; and her grandchildren, Jen, Kim, Deb and Kenzie. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

Gifts in her memory may be made to American Red Cross.
