He was predeceased by: his son Michael Stanton; his brothers, Leo Stanton, Thomas Stanton and James Stanton; and his parents, Thomas L. and Mary B. Stanton (Doyle).
He is survived by: his wife Arlene A. Kingston Stanton (Casey); his children, Edward Stanton of Chicopee, Joanne Denver (Mark) of East Longmeadow and Jennifer George (Bill) of Granby, CT; his brother John Stanton of Maine; and his grandchildren, Matthew Denver, Nicole Flaherty, Conne George, Dane Stanton and Nash Stanton. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
