With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta E. Hauer of Sudbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 10, 2023 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loretta E. Hauer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Sunkenberg and Frances Sunkenberg (Azzaretto); and her husband Roland J. Hauer. She is survived by : her daughters, Lisa Hauer (William Quirk) of LaGrangeville, Emily Hauer (James Brown) of Sudbury and Susan Chisholm (Ben) of Sudbury, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Luke Roland, Eleanor "Lulu" and Samantha Ruby; her brother Henry Sunkenberg; her nephews, Michael and James; her niece Jenna (Debby) of Florida; her son Paul Azzaretto (Alexis); and her grandchildren, Kaela, Kyle and Kolby of Westfield.

Donations may be made in Laurie's name to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 415 Crossways Park Drive, Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797.
