George Funari Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Funari of Sutton, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie Funari (Napolitano); his sons, Christopher Funari of Sutton and Steven Funari; his grandchildren, Joshua, Kate, Samuel and Brooke; and his brother Julio Funari.
