She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren F. Johnson and Helen Austin (Jakstis); her sister Betty Ann Hedlund; and her stepfather Carl Austin. She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Morton of Sutton; her children, Robert J. Morton Jr. (Jessica Tully) of East Hampton, CT, Daniel W. Morton (Merry Leo) of Woodstock, CT and Sarah A. Scott (Forrest Scott) of East Hampton, CT; her grandchildren, Logan, Rowan, Arlo, Jane, Ashton and Damon; her sister Susan Varin (Edward Varin) of Sutton; her brother-in-law Paul Hedlund of Dudley, MA; and her sister Penny Morway (Timothy) of Burlington, VT. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
