Edward P. Knopf Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward P. Knopf of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Knopf and Sigmund Knopf (Siggy). He is survived by: his wife Diane Miller Knopf; his daughter Elyse Propis (Sam); his grandson Emmett; his brother David (Judy); and his brother-in-law Peter Miller. He is also survived by many cousins, a nephew, and a wide circle of dear friends.
He and Diane cherished their travels together, embracing adventures both before and after the pandemic.
