We announce the death of Gary J. MacDonald of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 79. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl MacDonald and Adella MacDonald; and his significant other Christina "Chris" MacDonald (Frost). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Kelleher (Michael) of Swampscott, Jason MacDonald (Cate) of Ashland and Andrew MacDonald (Jenna) of Truckee, CA; his grandchildren, Quinn, Casey Kelleher, William, Mary and Maxwell MacDonald; his brother Greg MacDonald (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Frost (Ellen) and Carole Jubb (Skip). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
