It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald A Sherman of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tillie Cohen Sherman and Abraham Sherman; his siblings, Annette "Honey" Sherman Yackolow, John "Jay" Emanual, Robert "Bob" Joseph, Morton "Mort" and Wilfred'Bill'; his stepchild Mikelle Beth of Leesburg, VA; his brothers, Sherbros and Boston; John C. Smith and Bryan. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nephews.

CNN and Hallmark were his television choices as well as his regular evening appointment with Sandy to watch something streaming once Covid closed public theaters.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your choice of charities that support the arts.
