She was predeceased by : her child Jamie Scalese of Swampscott; and her sisters, Ruth Kane of Saugus, Nancy DiGiovanni (Bob) of Melrose and Doris Dewey of Malden. She is survived by : her husband James F. Scalese; her children, Gail Scalese (George Roop) of Belmont and Stephen Scalese (Rovena) of West Boylston; her grandchildren, Kendall Higgins, Aaron and Christina Scalese; and her sister Kathleen Anno of Lynnfield.
