He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Howard (Carroll); his parents, Joseph P. Howard and Mary Howard (Reardon); his son Michael Howard; and his sister Kathleen Melkonian.

He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Flanagan (Christopher), Emily Howard, Teddy Howard, Shea, Quinn and Beck Flanagan; and his siblings, Elaine Vousboukis and David Howard.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Ocean St (67 Ocean St, Lynn, MA 01902). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
