Melvin Mizner Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Mizner of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 22, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Malina Mizner; his parents, Isadore Mizner and Rose Mizner; and his siblings, Bertha Rubin (Murray), Sidney Mizner (Rita), Ruth Jack Sigal (Rae) and Milton Mizner (Kathy).

He is survived by: his children, Ann Mizner McKay (Stuart) of Marblehead, Laura Mizner of Washington, DC, Richard Mizner (Linda) of Cambridge, MA and Robin Friedman (Matt) of Marblehead; and his grandchildren, Mason, Maddie, Malina, Samantha and Reese. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and great, great nephews.
