He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn S. (Yudin); his siblings, Alton Venner, Norma Brass and Howard Vener; and his parents, Louis Vener and Sylvia Vener (Hoffman).
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Katz of Lynn, Jim Vener of Swampscott and Ron Vener (Erica) of Marblehead; his grandchildren, Olivia, Nicolas, Sophia Vener, Ariel Katz (Eliza), Jonah Katz and Sarah Katz; and his great grandchildren, Shoshana, Ilan and Avital Katz.
