He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Gendron; his sisters, Bette Means Gendron and Donna Smith Davis; and his nephew Troy. He is survived by: his significant other Jim Martin; his brother Bill Gendron; his brother-in-law John Cennami; his brother Teddy Gendron (Madeline Gendron); his godson Ryan Gendron; his siblings' children, Kenny Gendron, Shirley, Kim, Todd, Tawnya, Tiffany, Tarra, Dawn and Frank; his close friend Val; and his nephew-in-law Herbie.
