With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Melvin Cole of Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, William Melvin is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William Melvin's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by : his spouse Shirley Cole; his parents, Leo Cole and Rose Cole; and his brother Frederick Cole (Regina). He is survived by : his brother Jerome Cole (Barbara) of New Jersey.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ahabot Shalom Cemetery (16 Buxton Rd, Danvers, MA 01923). A shiva was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Nanci Cole-King (9 D Russell Dr, Salem, MA 01970).
