He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland A. Hebert and Ruth G. Hebert (Bradley); his granddaughter Jessica Hebert; and his siblings, Ruth Adams, Frank Hebert, Paul Hebert and Roland Hebert, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Hebert (Pires); his children, Kerry R. Hebert of Augusta, ME, David R. Hebert (Lorie) of Somerset and Kimberly E. Whelan (Tim) of Chesterfield, VA; his brother Philip Hebert of Westport; his grandchildren, Jillian Hebert, James Hebert and Charlotte Whelan; and his great grandchildren, Lacey, Nora and Renai. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Potter Funeral Home (61 Tarkiln Hill Rd, New Bedford, MA 02745). A masonic service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Noquochoke Lodge. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (945 Main Rd, Westport, MA 02790).
