He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Teves (Rego); his children, Kevin Costa Teves (Kristin) of Assonet, Elizabeth Costa Carreiro (Joshua) of Swansea, Nancy Costa Dodd of Fall River, Gary Moniz (Jessica) of Swansea and Christi Moniz (Richard) of Swansea; his grandchildren, Nathaniel C. Teves, Blaize S. Teves, Alianna C. Teves, Serena E. Dodd, Elyse G. Carreiro, Elijah L. Carreiro, Andrew M. Moniz, Gary R. Moniz Jr., Julia L. Moniz, Lucas A. Moniz and Jocelyn J. Moniz; and his brother John Carlos Teves of Tiverton, RI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Espirito Santo Church (311 Alden St, Fall River, MA 02723). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Notre Dame Cemetery (1540 Stafford Rd, Fall River, MA 02721).
