She was predeceased by : her husband Alfred L. Mayo Sr.; her parents, Manuel Mello and Rose Helen Mello; and her siblings, Helen Mello, Robert Mello, Edward Mello and John Mello.

She is survived by : her son Alfred L. Mayo Jr.; her sister Pauline Golden of Swansea; and her granddaughter Christina Mayo of Providence. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
