It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John M. Sequeira of Swansea, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Sequeira and Maria Sequeira (Moniz); and his sister Angie Medeiros. He is survived by: his wife Aida Sequeira (Avella); his brother Joseph M. Sequeira (Euvalda); his brother-in-law James Medeiros; and his godchildren, Lee Lawrence and James Leo Medeiros.
