He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Sousa; and his sisters, Connie Miranda and Rosa Aurora Miranda Sousa. He is survived by: his sister Maria Jose Sousa Dalu; his niece Susanne Miranda Whritenour (Nicholas); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paxton, Addyson and Calliope; his brother-in-law Antonio Miranda (Dina); his cousin Maria Celina Candido; Lisa, Zachary and Giovanni.
