It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Arruda of Swansea, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela Arruda (Fortin); his parents, Manuel Arruda and Maria Arruda (Pavao); and his siblings, Altino and Floirano Arruda.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Kim McIntyre; his children, Joshua Arruda of Swansea and Tiffany Arruda (Kevin Riel) of Swansea; his grandsons, Darius J. Arruda, Cameron Riel and Jesse Joseph Riel; and his sister Marie Arruda-Poirier (Roy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
