He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose DaCosta and Maria A DaCosta (Oliveira). He is survived by: his wife Maria Costa (Medeiros); his children, Joseph DaCosta (Dawn Mancusi) of Swansea and Russell DaCosta of Swansea; his grandchildren, Brett DaCosta and Catherine DaCosta; his great grandchildren, Liv DaCosta Robinson and Reid DaCosta; and his siblings, Ursulina DaCosta, Maria Dos Anjos Oliveira and Maria Tereza Amaral of Fall River.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (530 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, MA 02777). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
