With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karon Ann Simpson of Swansea, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Karyn Souza (William), Allan Affonso (Christine) of Fall River, MA, Karrie Hunter (John) of Candia, NH and Darlene Rosado of Swansea, MA; her stepson David Simpson of Tiverton, RI; her grandchildren, William Souza, Jr. (Billy), Rebecca Roberts (Becky), Brendan Souza, Jordan Affonso, Jared Affonso, Nicole Affonso, Timothy Hunter, Sarah Hunter and Joshua Hunter; her sister Shiela Oliveira (Richard) of Westport, MA; her cousin Dianne Orlando (Vincent) of Swansea, MA.; and her husband Alvin D. Simpson. She is also survived by three nieces; five nephews, many cousins and countless friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the North Tiverton Baptist Church (198 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI 02878).
