He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Moniz (Almeida); and his brother Gregory Moniz. He is survived by: his father Richard Moniz Sr. of Swansea; his daughter Tonya Moniz of Meredith, NH; his grandson Anthony Moniz of Holbrook; and his sisters, Patricia Moniz of Fall River, Kendell Moniz-Amaral of Swansea and Shannon Moniz of Tiverton.
