He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur R. Paulhus and Jeanne Paulhus (Martin); his significant other Steven Sylvia; and his brothers, Dr. Lawrence R. Paulhus and John D. Paulhus.

He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy J. Paulhus of Swansea, Lisa H. Paulhus (Malcolm King) of Swansea and Daniel M. Paulhus (Richard Travers) of Swansea; and his nieces and nephews, Nathan A. Paulhus, Amy J. Paulhus, Ryan A. Paulhus and Emma E. Paulhus.
