He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Mattos and Mary Mattos (Cardoza); and his siblings, Manuel, Joseph, Frank, Rose and Mary Mattos.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Mattos (Souza); his children, Lynne Marie Mattos of New York and Stephen Mattos of Nebraska; and his sister Cecelia Mattos of Taunton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
