She was predeceased by: her parents, David W. O'Connor and Carrie O'Connor (Greco); and her brothers, David W. O'Connor III and Daniel O'Connor. She is survived by: her husband George R. Powers Sr.; her children, Maureen Hebert (James) of Taunton, George R. Powers Jr. (Jean) of Bridgewater and Janet Curley (Peter) of North Dighton; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan Hebert, Erin Medeiros, Jennifer Curley, Meghan and Matthew Powers. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
