David T. Gay Obituary
We announce the death of David T. Gay of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 22, 2026. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter B. Gay and Laura Gay (Garda); his brother Peter A. Gay (Linda); and his sister-in-law Sheila Gill (John). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Tricia" Marshall Gay; his sons, Daniel Gay (Erin) and Gregory Gay (Stacey); his siblings, William Gay (Cheryl), Thomas Gay (Sheri), Francis Gay (Bethany), Laurel Gay (Michael) and Robert Gay (Lisa); and his brother-in-law John Marshall (Gail). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in David's memory be made to Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center, https://www.greenlock.org whose mission of enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities was especially meaningful to him, or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, in support of advancing research and finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.
