He was predeceased by : his parents, John Silvia and Irene Silvia (Andrade); and his brother William Silvia. He is survived by : his wife Judy Silvia (White); his sons, John "Jay" Silvia II (Kate) and Matthew Silvia (Alyssa Massey); his nephew Eric Doherty (Lisa); his sisters, Ann Silvia and Maribeth Donaldson (Tim); and his grandchildren, John Silvia III and Juliet Silvia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
