It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Valadao of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 11, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Valadao to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Valadao and Margaret Valadao (Dupont). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Valadao (Rebello); his children, Erica Valadao and Nicholas Valadao (Erin); his grandchildren, Edward "EJ" and Evelyn Valadao; and his sister Maria Gomes (Bradford). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (372 Middleboro Ave, East Taunton, MA 02718).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to; Saint Jude Children's Hospital http://www.stjude.org in Ed's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
