James Couto Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Couto of Taunton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Couto and Virginia Couto (Camara). He is survived by: his children, Chad Couto of Stow, VT, Mark Couto of Brockton and Cindy Rose of Berkley; his stepchildren, Charles Herald (Maria) of East Taunton and Kristen Herrald of Taunton; his brother William Couto of East Taunton; his grandchildren, Bonnie Rose, Jaime Walker and Amber Fay; his stepgrandchildren, Charles and Kristen Herrald; and his great grandchildren, Quincy Dixon and Ainsley Coburn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home (70 Washington St, Taunton, MA 02780). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
