He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Fernanda Miller (Ribeiro); and his parents, James Miller and Christine Miller (Queener). He is survived by: his children, Nicholas J. Miller (Lisette) of Raynham and Danielle A. Dion (Andrew) of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Rosalyn, Lucia, Viviana and Ava; and his sister Pamela White.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Nicholas of Myra Church (499 Spring St, North Dighton, MA 02764).
In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of James D. Miller to support cancer research and patient care.
