Janis B. (Bernstein) Nowak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis B. (Bernstein) Nowak of Taunton, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 24, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janis B. (Bernstein) Nowak to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theodore Bernstein and Esther Bernstein (Leshin); her husband Ed; her sons, Jeffrey (Cristen Farrell) and Matthew (Alison Ashworth); and her grandchildren, Grace, Eleanor Farrell Nowak, Margaret and Theodore Nowak. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws, as well as many dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Congregation Agudath Achim (36 Winthrop St, Taunton, MA 02780). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
