With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marie (Joubert) Wilson of Taunton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025. As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy L. Joubert (Torres); and her brother Arthur Joubert III. She is survived by: her father Arthur Richard Joubert; her son Allen Wilson; her granddaughter Andraya Wilson; and her sisters, Sharon Joubert (David McGrath) and Debora Swale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home (350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
