She was predeceased by : her parents, Manuel Sylvia and Lillian Sylvia (Torres). She is survived by : her close friend Paul Lemaire; her children, Jason Burt (Joy) and Monica Gibson (Ronald); her siblings, Judith Daggett (Brian), Susan McCrohan and Leslie Eaton (Dan); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Smith (Melanie), Jada Burt, Adriana Gibson, Amberlie Gibson (Will) and Shantel Grindle (Isaac). She is also survived by 9 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (475 E Britannia St, Taunton, MA 02780). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
