We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, Jose M. Faria of Taunton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jose shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jose farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Agôsto Faria and Maria Emilia Faria (Andrade); and his siblings, Andre H. Faria, Sr. and Alvarina Duarte. He is survived by: his wife Maria Helena Faria (Chaves); his brother Manuel H. Faria (Maria); and his sister-in-law Maria Salome Faria. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, his many nieces and nephews and his large, loving extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home (350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, MA 02780). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (475 E Britannia St, Taunton, MA 02780).
