He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Elisa Soares; his parents, Francisco Soares and Alexandria Soares; his siblings, Francisco Soares, Delfina Teixeira, Mary Nunes and Olivia Paiva; his daughter Filomena Maria Soares; his grandchildren, Edward, Kris Correia, Michael, David Chaves, Alex, Marisa DaSilva and Katelyn Carvalho; and his great grandchildren, Amelia, Mia, Alexander, Brody and Colton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Olivia Pina (Arthur), Mary Lynch (Robert), Susan DaSilva (Dom) and Elizabeth Soares (Louis Ricciardi); his nephew Frank Texeira; and his friend Jose Chaves.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home (350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, MA 02780). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Church (19 Kilmer Ave, Taunton, MA 02780).
