He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Helen Downing (Gula). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Downing (Kelley); his daughters, Kerry Gallagher-Rebelo (Alan) of Taunton and Katy Gallagher-Wooley (Ron) of Duxbury; his brothers, Brian Downing of Raynham, Paul Downing (Gail) of Easton, Neil Downing (Vicki-Ann) of North Dighton and Terence Downing (Rosemary) of East Taunton; Joan Gallagher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
