She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert F. Lima; her parents, Joseph Vieira and Mary Vieira (Ferrie); and her brother Joseph Vieira. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Broderick (Matthew) of Taunton and Herbert F. Lima (Andrea) of Taunton; her grandsons, Ryan Olson and Nicholas Lima; her great grandchild Bentley Lima; and her sisters, Lillian Beals of Cape Cod, Dorothea Foster, Kathleen Craig and Eileen Quigley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Madeline was a breast cancer survivor, her family request in lieu of flowers that memorial gifts in her name be made to any organization that will help support breast cancer research, with deep appreciation.
